After he has saved her life, Dana (Kei'la Ryan) invites Colt (Parker Shook), her childhood crush and now leader of a mega-church, and his fiancée Mary (Terrea Byrne) over to her luxurious home for a dinner party, a party also attended by Dana's brother Logan (Gregory Shelby), formerly Colt's best friend when they both played high school football before they had a fall-out - interestingly over a woman, which comes as a bit of a shock to Mary as she and Colt have never even had sex yet. Now it soon becomes clear that Dana still has the hots for Colt, so she does her best to catch him alone while she pushes Mary onto Logan. And she's not playing quite fair with Colt as she doesn't only use her (quite considerable) charms on him but also drugs, while with Logan Mary proves to be not quite the virgin she has made her fancé believe she is. But things soon take a dark turn when, after Dana gets the drug dosage wrong and now tries to force him to have sex with her at gunpoint ...

Now this is quite an unique film, it starts out as a somewhat mean comedy carried by poignant dialogue but eventually drifts into erotic thriller territory, before going a bit into the absurd and finally rewarding us with a surprising horror movie climax and a very unexpected ending, all with even some social commentary mixed in - and it all works beautifully, thanks to a very clever script that focuses on characters, their arcs and, as aforementioned, poignant dialogue, to a fittingly atmospheric directorial effort, and of course a strong small ensemble cast. And the result is an unusual but totally worthwhile genre ride.
