Margareta (Diana Dors) runs a high-class brothel in Copenhagen where the
hookers are sold off in auctions, with her 2 orphaned nieces she has brought
up, Suzanna (Cia Löwgren) & Karin (Solveig Andersson), being her top prostitutes ... but the girls (rather understandably) like the perversions
their aunt subjects them to less & less. Eventually, Suzanna meets a nice
man, Peter (Peder Kinsberg), a testpilot, & the 2 gradually fall in love -
but of course she doesnt tell him anything about her profession, claiming she
is a ballerina ... of course, Peter isn't a testpilot either but works at the
airport as ground personnel ... & only the nightshifts. One day, Suzanna
& Peter stumble over one of Peter's colleagues, Gerhard (Ib Mossin),
incidently one of Suzanna's customers .. but Gerhard, a hateful man, decides to
not spill the beans (yet), instead trying to use Peter in a little
drugsmuggling he does on the side. When Peter refuses though, Gerhard invites
all of his colleagues including Peter to a whorehouse ... Margaretha's
whorehouse, & when all of a sudden Suzanna stands before Peter, in all her
naked beauty, he is pretty much shocked out of his mind & leaves instantly. &
to really celebrate his success, Gerhard orders Suzanna for the night ... but
he is arrested before he can do anything naughty ... Suzanna meets Peter
again, & they decide to give it another try - even if she is no ballerina
& he is no testpilot. Ah yeah, in a vaguely related story, Karin has
meanwhile eloped with a millionaire. One of these loveable pieces of
1970's erotica: The storyline is rather silly & not at all thought through,
& the direction is really nothing special ... yet the film is highly
enjoyable thanks to jazzy psychedelic music, typical 1970's trippy sets &
colours, & an unpretentious, almost innocent, treatment of sex &
nudity.
