Upon coming home one day, Annika (Jean Bork) is approached by a weirdo
in a cape, the Baron (Holger Delfs), who takes an unhealthy interest in
her hands, so much so that he freaks her out and she literally has to
shake him off and escape to the inside. Thing is, the Baron doesn't just
leave but remains outside to watch Annika's place and is soon joined by a
few more weird characters. Annika phones the police, but they refuse to
help as the Baron and his friends don't break any laws as long as they
don't enter her home. So in her panic Annika calls her best friend Ingrid
(Eva Habermann) - just as the Baron and company enter her home. She
manages to escape them and hide in the bathroom ... until Ingrid shows up,
tells her whoever it was has long gone, and she can come out now - and
suddenly, Annika finds herself delivered right into the arms of the Baron
and friends, as Ingrid is in fact one of them. And while Annika's fear has
been rather diffuse so far, what awaits her is very probably way worse
than what she might have expected as Ingrid, the Baron and friends are
actually cannibals who have chosen her for their next meal - but not only
cannibals, they also collect bodyparts and come from a long line of
flesheaters that also includes Ed Gein and Jack the Ripper. Annika does
what she can to escape, but her adversaries have of course been quick to
tie her up, and made her escape impossible, sealing her terrible terrible
fate ... But our friends the cannibals have to eventually learn
themselves that when with other cannibals, it's only a matter of time
until one ends in someone else's belly oneself ... The
Terror Stalkers mind sound like a mighty bleak and gruesome movie in
writing ... but actually it's not, most of the actual violence is shown
off-screen, the story is more carried by poignant dialogue than actual
bloodletting, is more macabre comedy than actual horror, doesn't shy away
from campy bits (without overdoing it), and still manages to create
suspense aplenty. Basically, an all-around fun ride. If you
