At the same time as young Helga (Marie Forsa) & Monika (Ulrike
Butz) come to the castle of their ancestors for the reading of a will,
brother & sister Peter (Nico Wolferstetter) seek refuge in the castle
because - as they claim - their car has broken down. Caretaker Wanda
(Nadia Henkowa) seems to have now objections.
What nobody knows though is that Wanda secretly heads a witches coven
that holds black masses in the nude every night & is bound on
resurrecting the vampire Baroness Vargas, Monika's & Helga's ancestor.
For that though, Wanda needs the 2 girls, Monika to be reborn as the
Baroness, & Helga to give her blood ... and she needs Peter, to have
sex with the Baroness upon her rebirth. But Julia is not quite what she
seems but a researcher in superstition, & to ward of evil from herself
and Peter, they both wear garlic crosses. However, Wanda has soon forced
horny young Helga into her submission, & she not only has sex with
Peter but also persuades him to give her his garlic cross.
Julia tries to prevent the things to come, but everything seems to be
in vain, as neither can she persuade her brother to leave the place with
her, nor can she prevent the black mass to resurrect the Baroness from
happening, she only ends up being attacked by bats who fully undress her
before she can ward them off with her garlic cross.
In te end, all the Baroness needs to triumph is the (self-)sacrifice of
Helga, & she has already taken her place at the sharp end of a stake,
when Julia makes a desperate effort to intervene, but is only attacked by
Monika/the Baroness ... but fighting for her life, Julia grabs a stake
& stabs her, all at once putting an end to all the horror ...
Even if director Sarno is an American & did make the film for an
American audience, this is European sex-&-horror schlock at its
finest: a convoluted yet stupid script, excuses to undress the actresses
aplenty, plenty of wooden acting & inane dialogue ... but on the other
hand also, great location shooting (in an actual castle with an actual
dungeon), a certain unspoilt attitude towards erotism, and of course sweet
Marie Forsa. So watch out, without even wanting it, you might loe the
film.
