Amy (Charlotte Chiew) and Marie (Zuza Tehanu) live in an isolated cottage, which should be ideal as they're very much into one another ... only it's not, as Amy's currently struggling at her job while Marie dreams of becoming an actress, but the one role she has scored is a bit iffy, her acting coach (Annabelle Lanyon) has problems to make her open up, and then there's also that drug habit she tries to kick - with at best mixed results. So no wonder the two women are drifting apart more and more, exactly when they could use one another's support ...

Now We Go Again is not the most happening of movies, and I'd actually go so far and call it slow-moving - but the pace really works in the film's favour, as it's a very sincere and heart-felt drama that really makes its issues palpable, thanks to a strong script, a suitably subtle directorial effort and of course also a very solid cast playing well fleshed out characters. So in all, definitely worth a watch.
