However, once at the location, the girls don't just experience a skyquake first hand, they also find out much more than they bargained for - or can handle, really ...<p> <p>Too many found footage films nowadays consist of the actors clumsily try to improvise dialogue while using shaky camerawork to fake excitement and suspense. <b>Project Skyquake</b> in contrast has much more thought put into it, starting with the fact that the two protagonists just feel real, a handful of guest stars (Tom Sizemore, Robert LaSardo, Simon Bamford), if remotely filmed, are cleverly integrated into the plot, the effects-work is pretty amazing, and much emphasis is put on creating tension and atmosphere and just keeping things as cinematic as possible within found footage confines.
