A girl (Laura Giglio) tells her friend about the goings on in Powell
Forest (see Witch of Powell
Forest) she has just read about in a tabloid over the phone - and
it's not like the friend believes her, and not surprisingly so, living,
murdering vines sound a bit far-fetched. However, soon enough, the girl
herself is dragged into her swimming pool by vines and drowned soon enough
- when she wakes up - it was all just a dream caused by this stupid
tabloid story. But are those vines sneaking up on her? Not much
of a movie in the narrative sense of the word, but a fun exercise in
vine-horror in the realm of no-budget filmmaking. And given the lack of
funds for fancy special effects, this is quite well done and cleverly
executed, even if it's only half as funny as in Witch
of Powell Forest, when the idea was still fresh and backed by a
funny story. Ah yes, and if you want to purchase this film (as

of Powell Forest-DVD), click here - http://www.wavemovies.com/2004/dvd_witch_powell_forest/index.html
