A black magician raises the dead, and he is involuntarily helped by a
bunch of incompetent graverobbers. Ultimately, he wants to unleash the
undead onto the living during a musical performance, but there is a
pre-teen monk in training who puts up resistance - by praying. And even
when the black magician raises hell to fight his adversary, the young monk
won't budge, and finally, his evil schemes become the villain's own
undoing. Lame horror comedy that is based on humour that's too
broad to be really funny while the scares are too few and far between.
Only the finale, in which the young monk and company are attacked by
floating coffins, shows some imagination and is actually pretty well-made,
but in all that's too little too late.
