In the early 21st century (but a little later than now), it is discovered that replicants are the perfect lovemachines, so
they are sent out in their shapeshifting bodies to collect as much orgasmic data as possible to … oh, I don’t know what
for. One such replicants is Reiko (played in her various guises by Ayumu Tokito, Maria Yumeno, Yumeko Sasaki,
Miho Ariga, Myuu Aso, Etsuyo Tsuchida and Tsousi), who wonders the streets, looking for one good fuck after the
next, evading stripper/virus Tokyo Rose (Aja) and finally returning to the company she came from, where she receives one
last good fuck from her hermaphrodite creator (Zachery Nataf) before being retired.
An attempt to make a cyberpunk porn – that falls several feet short of its lofty goal to make not just another porn but
underground art as well. Now it’strue that some of the images are pretty good, and the computer graphics are very
accomplished and even inventive at times – but then again, it simply can’t escape the viewer that the film’s whole story is
nothing but a hanger for sex and more sex – which wouldn’t even be that bad yet wasn’t the story so pseudo intellectual,
unnecessarily convoluted and rather stupid. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not in the least against porn, I just hate it when a
porn flick being marketed as something innovative and intellectually stimulating when in the end it quite clearly is just more
of the same, only more pretentious.
