A group of friends get together to plan making a horror movie - but
frankly, they can't agree on anything apart from a girl being chased
through the woods by a masked man, not even on the weapon the killer's
threatening her with. One of the friends even goes so far as to suggest
keys. And the more the discussion goes about this very genre typical chase
scene, the less the friends even agree on the basics anymore ... It's
rather likely that whoever has ever tried to make a movie with one's
friends has encountered a similar situation as the one depicted in Implement
of Death - the sheer impossibility to find any compromise on the most
basic of things. And exactly this is played out here really well, as the
film is really its central scene, the chase, playing more and more and
less and less likely riffs on as the film progresses, often interrupted at
seemingly random points, all carried by a lively discussion among friends
that really makes a mess of things. And thanks to a solid cast and a genre
savvy directorial effort that doesn't milk the jokes to much, this movie
comes to life quite beautifully ... ... and if this has at all
gotten you curious, you might as well watch the movie here: https://www.facebook.com/DCDogs/videos/10151721584148353/
