It's a chance meeting between an office worker (Emmeline Hartley) and
an elevator repair man (Damien Molony) in an elevator - that gets stuck.
Only, the two know each other from before, when they met at a club,
neither of them completely sober, danced, kissed, eventually drove back to
her place where ... well, he thinks they had great sex, she thinks he took
advantage of her, and basically stops just short of saying he raped her.
Thing is, the more he refuses to see her side of things, the less
comfortable she feels, as this is not just a difference of opinions but of
attitudes ... A very powerful short drama that works quite so
well because it doesn't just paint the world in black and white but
acknowledges grey areas and that way manages to bring its message across
quite as powerfully as it does - which is also helped by strong
performance with Emmeline Hartley always being more than just a victim and
Damien Molony actually coming across as kind of charming, which really
makes the story get under one's skin, and thus this is a film that's
almost certain to get one thinking.
