At her birthday party that was disrupted by a bomb hidden in the cake,
Sia has noticed she has the gift of foreseeing death. When a few days
later, her friend Anna calls from God-knows-where and the call is cut off
in mid-sentence, Sia has a vision of Anna's death and gets totally freaked
out. Once the shock has settled though, she assembles four of her closest
friends to go look for Anna, and her gift even tells Sia where to find
her, in a beautiful and large yet abandoned and a bit spooky house. The
youngsters set out to find Anna, but there's obviously a killer around who
picks them out and slaughters them one after the other. Ultimately, Sia's
team is down to three, herself and Hanny and Bert, and these three are
actually able to not just run into the killer's trap but put up a fight, and they
manage to bring down the killer, even if Bert loses his life in the fight.
The killer turns out to be Ohm, Anna's boyfriend who has lost his marbles
in a fit of jealousy ... and like all killers in slasher movies, he proves
to be a tough one to kill, surviving two sure-deaths unscathed before Sia
finally runs him over by car ... Average slasher movie that
adds very little new to the genre - and Sia's psychic ability is a novelty
that wears off rather quickly -, but at least it's competently done and
features a few better than usual (for the genre) performances. So if you
like slashers, you might as well give this one a try, if you don't, you
won't miss a thing not watching it.
