A stewardess (Mary Webster) is accused of murdering her roommate (Eve
Bernard), and at first, more and more evidence is found to corroborate
that, especially since she is dating her roommate's ex Ralph (William
Joyce) presently - but lawyer Herb Maris (Macdonald Carey), an
acquaintance of the accused, just doesn't believe she's guilty, and after
barking up the wrong tree trying to pin the murder on Ralph, he finds out
that the dead girl had secretly married William Tyler (Ross Elliott), a
man who is already married to someone else and who now wanted to silence
her and escape bigamy charges. With the help of another roommate (Joan
O'Brien) of the stewardess and the murdered girl, Maris manages to get a
confession out of Tyler. Routine and slightly boring crime
drama.
