Cassie (Willow Mcgregor) is a young woman still trying to find her
place in this world - and in some way, the grotesque to bizarre pictures
of art photographer Lea Driver (Erin Kiniry) seem to help her with this -
so imagine her surprise when instead of the last print she ordered, she
just received an empty paper. Calling customer service though, Cassie
finds herself on the phone with Lea herself, who couldn't be more helpful
- but lets details slip about her photos that are somewhat disquieting,
suggesting that there's more to the pictures than them being just weird
portraits. And in a ways also suggesting that Cassie should be mighty
worried ... A pretty great horror short that, deliberately
slow-paced, manages to properly build up dread and work with suggestion to
build a feeling of unease rather than go for the jugular straight away. In
fact, as creepy as the film grows to be, it leaves much to the imagination
rather than spelling things out - and is all the more eerie for it.
Definitely worth a watch!
