Somehow, psychotic criminal Ronnie (Charley Boorman) gets stranded in
Seoul, South Korea, with some engraving plates, and his only associate is
Ventura (Wilfred Benaiche), a crook who devices a plan to use the plates
to print money - but to print money, one has to have some money first to
set up shop, right? So Ronnie and Ventura decide to shoot snuff videos
using the strippers from gangsterboss Jae Dong's club. Jae Dong is
less than happy, and soon he has Ventura shot because of the killings, but
Ronnie is cleverer than to get himself shot, quite the contrary, he goes
on the offensive and kills several of Jae Dong's employees to blackmail
him into paying him some ridiculous sum of money. The police soon get wise
to what's happening, but it seems Korean commissioner Nam Suk-wu (Takashi
Kawahara) lacks the self-confidence to bring the case to a conclusion
without Western help, so he tries to get his Fench colleague Verdier
(Pierre Clémenti), who has just brought an Interpol mission to a
successful end, involved. Verdier initially turns down Nam Suk-wu's
request, so the Korean persuades French journalist Brigitte Dalmers (Eva
Mazauric) to become a stripper in Jae Dong's club to act as bait for
Ronnie and Verdier alike ... and they both fall for it, while Brigitte
herself sees this as a perfect chance to get a scoop. Quite a bad idea,
since Ronnie has no problems to evade the police and still kidnap and
torture Brigitte - until Verdier manages to track him down and arrest him.
But Ronnie suggests a deal, he helps the local police to get rid of Jae
Dong (by blowing him up, incidently) in exchange for his freedom, and Nam
Suk-wu and Verdier pretend to agree - until Jae Dong is really blown to
smithereens, then they let Brigitte shoot her torturer Ronnie ... Cheaply
made and very trashy little film that is so badly written and full of
clichés it's almost funny (but only almost) and features so many excuses
to show tits it's almost endearing (but again, only almost). Apart from
that, there's very little to say about the movie, it's boringly directed,
makes next to no use of its Korean locations (it could have been set in
France just as well, considering its story), and the acting is actually
pretty bad by all involved. Not worth your time.
