Mikaela (Mimi Denisi) joins her husband Freddie on his Greek island
where he is building a giant housing complex after six months of
seperation. However, Freddie shows little interest in her (and actually
has long taken to shagging other women, which Mikaela doesn't know yet),
and the other women on the island don't welcome her into their midst
because they are jealous of her having married Freddie - so Mikaela feels
more and more like a social outcast, and the only person who actually
shows any affection to her is her husband's secretary Alex - but he
actually only gets on Mikaela's nerves because he's madly in love with her
and shows that a bit too openly, while she wants to remain faithful to her
husband. Instead, Mikaela gets involved with two lesbians, who she feels
close to because they are social outcasts like herself. Then Freddie,
who has long noticed Alex is in love with Mikaela, kicks him out of their
house, and as a revenge, Alex gives Mikaela the key to the place where
Freddie makes love to his new girlfriend. Mikaela catches him red-handed
but doesn't intervene ... because knowing about his infidelity has opened
her floodgates, so she shags first a random fisherman, then starts affairs
with both lesbians. When Freddie finds out though, he is furious, rapes
one of the lesbians and beats up Mikaela. Mikaela leaves her husband and
the island, but Alex is hell-bent on following her wherever she goes - but
even on the boat to the mainland, she breaks his heart by seducing the
captain ... Rather weak erotic drama that quite simply takes
itself way too seriously between nude scenes to really come across as
convincing - and that despite the fact that the soap opera-style plot as
such seems especially moronic even within genre boundaries. Not really
worth your time, and it doesn't even score high on the
so-bad-it's-good-rating.
