Ludovic (Alexis Wawerka), a harmless blogger, is caught in the cemetary

threatens to call the police - but Ludovic figures it's a good idea
stalling the man by having him tell stories about some of the most
prominent graves ...
- Apel Mortel: Elsa (Sophie Jarmouni) receives a call from a creepy stranger
(Francesco Porcelli) who’s much closer to her than she could have ever
imagined - and dangerously so …
- La Bête: On a stroll through the woodlands, a man (David Faure) saves an
injured woman (Sabine Rosoli) from a hunter’s gun - not knowing that
she might be something entirely else than just a defenseless woman …
- Le
Retour des Hommes-Lézards: Documentary filmmakers Diana (Alissia
Esteve) her cameraman film a ceremony of a cult of "duck-people" led by Romain Jacques
(Francois Gelay) who try to prevent the return of the lizard-people,
with the intent to expose the cult as a gang of loonies - but then things get bloody …
- Une
Affaire d’Enfer: Evil realtor de Wacker (Christian Chauvaud) is
determined to get his hands on Madame Croulé’s (Syla de Rawsky) place
for his client Linnea Quigley) at any cost, even if that involves
killing her. He just shouldn’t have laid hands on her pet …
- L’Oeil

gallerist (Stéphane Deleau) turns her down because she repeats the same motive, the angel
of death, over and over. Little does he know how much truth is in her
pictures …

Nécrologies is an anthology that's old-fashioned in the best of
possible ways: Basically all of its segments are carried by a different
vibe, a different approach to horror, but all show a distinct gusto for
the macabre and have a Tales
from the Crypt-vibe to it while stylistically and thematically
they cover ground reminiscent of similar anthology movies from the 1960s
to the 1980s, with even the wraparound story, in all its predictability,
being just a fun reminder of these movies of old. Basically the film has
something to love for anyone, and above all else is just a ton of genre
fun!
