A boy (Brady Bond) refuses to go to sleep as he insists there's a
monster in his room. Naturally, his babysitter (Tommie Vegas) isn't taking
him all that seriously, after all, there's no such thing as monsters. Had
she known what would happen next, she'd probably reacted differently
though. Basically, Nite Nite is just a fun horror
miniature, a little film that doesn't exactly tread new ground when it
comes to story or execution, but one that tells its story well and is well
executed on a directorial level, to a point where the punchline that
certainly announces itself early on does come across as fresh and
surprising. And of course, that the cast is likeable and convincing
doesn't hurt one bit either. In short, if you like spooky stories,
you'll certainly get a kick out of this one.
