Doreen (Nancy O'Malley) runs a self-help group for nymphomaniac women -
which basically means she supplies nymphos with plenty of men, and/or
helps them get rid of their over-jealous husbands. Laura (Natasha) has
long noticed that her husband Stan (Gordon) just isn't enough to satisfy
her sexual needs. So she makes several attempts to seduce men, including
her psychiatrist (Jack James) treating her for her sex addiction, but
without success - so she calls Doreen, and is soon supplied with a
never-ending flow of men. This is of course much to her husband's dismay,
who soon starts shooting her gigolos dead - and when Doreen hears about
this, she blackmails Stan into becoming one of her studs himself, and
suddenly he sees himself forced into sexual situation after sexual
situation - while Laura, her psychiatrist and a policeman (Steve Goodwyn)
try to figure out what to do with all the dead bodies, which somehow
always end up in Laura's trunk ... To enjoy Nymphs
(Anonymous), you need to be somewhat on the forgiving kind, as this
film is edited with a healthy disregard of continuity, and I at least
doubt that the movie ever had a finished let alone edited script - to the
point where some characters seem to be at two or more locations at the
same time. That all said, the film's also lots of fun, as the script does
have its genuinely comedic moments that aren't even spoiled by mediocre
acting, and despite its focus on nudity it's pretty obvious that all the
cast are in on the joke and are playing it for laughs as much as for
titilation. That said, I wouldn't go so far as to call Nymphs
(Anonymous) a good film - but it sure enough is good enough for quite
a few chuckles.
