Mild-mannered Walter Loring (John Miljan), a security guard on the
studio lot he was once a bigshot director, is accused of assaulting Jack
Tanney (Donald Curtis), a current bigshot director whom he gave his first
breaks back in the day. Public defender Matthews (Reed Hadley) asks why
and soon finds out that Loring only wanted to help a girl (Lita Milan) he
considers amazingly talented get a part and things got out of hand. You
all know where this leads to of course: Matthews gets hold of the girl's
audition reel, shows it to Tanney's boss (Addison Richards), and he
promptly gives the girl a job and persuades Tanney to drop his charges. An
extremely cheesy and predictable episode that's got virtually nothing in
terms of tension or suspense but tells an embarrassingly heartwarming
story about nice people that never once strays from the plotline you
suspect it to have. Avoid!
