Barbara Royle's (Sue Johnston) mother Norma (Liz Smith) is visiting the Royles
- dad Jim (Ricky Tomlinson), mum Barbara daughter Denise (Caroline Aherne) & son Anthony
(Ralf Little) -, & finally Denise tries on her wedding dress - as it's only
weeks to her wedding to Dave (Craig Cash) - in the living room while the men - Jim,
Dave & Anthony - wait in the kitchen with their incredibly dull neighbour
Joe (Peter Martin) until there's more important to do ...
like watching the Antique Road Show for betting purposes ...
Up to now, that's the episode with the most story. & again the actors
& their portrayals of a working class family, are perfect.
