Grace (Gracie Whitton) hasn't been ok for a while now, so when she
enters Miranda's (Tricia Mauro) place, looking as if in a trance, Miranda
isn't that surprised and wants to take her home. She makes but one
mistake, she touches Ruby, Grace's doll ... A horror miniature,
pretty much as skeletal as can be: No backstory or character set-up
(though of course you're very much invitedc to make up your own in both
cases), pretty much a horror miniature that in less than three minutes has
to work as is - and it does, thanks to clever economized storytelling, a
genre savvy direction, effective camerawork and to-the-point acting. Well
worth a look for sure!
