Halim (Esma Daniel), his wife Nina (Putri Mardiana) and their daughter
Ecah (Farisha Fatin) live a happy happy life in an upscale neighbourhood,
so happy actually that a neighbour who has lost his wife in a fire puts a
hex on them - and soon Nina and Ecah start seeing the dead wife of the
neighbour in her burnt state, and she scares the living shit out of them.
At first, Halim doesn't take this too seriously, but then the dead woman possesses his wife - which unsurprisingly freaks Halim out,
especially since as a modern man, he doesn't know how to handle a
situation like this. Fortunately though, his servants are superstitious
folks, and they take Nina to an exorcist, who sends the spirit back to
where it came from - and while Nina is now allowed to rejoin her
loved ones, the jealous neighbour (quite fittingly) dies in a fire. Incredibly
lame ghost story/possession flick. There is virtually nothing new about
this film, its story has been told countless times, and mostly better,
too, there are no interesting plottwists in here, no real suspense, all of
the shock scenes are purely run-of-the-mill, and the finale is nothing
short of underwhelming. A waste of time, nothing more.
