After not winning the first prize at a science fair for his two-way
radio, Fred (Mark Lambert) is so depressed he almost has a car accident
and is only saved by local superheroine Isis (JoAnna Cameron). Later
though, when he and his teacher Andrea (Isis in disguise and thus also
played by JoAnna Cameron) fall foul of a few bad guys in a ghost town, and
Andrea has lost her amulet that turns her into Isis, it's thanks to his
two way radio that they are saved, and suddenly he doesn't feel like a
loser anymore. This episode plays up the educational message
angle way too much to actually work as a story - not that the actual plot
was that good to begin with.
