In her wedding night, Sadie (Jennie Russo) is still a virgin - but
instead of being deflowered by her husband Edwin (Kirk LaSalle), it's by
the fingers of Dirk (Trey Harrison), leader of The Touchers
(Michael Merchant, Jody Pucello, David Royal, Martha Zemsta), a gang that
apparently specializes in rape and murder. But when Sadie loses her
virginity, some evil power is set free, that sees the whole gang not only
gangraping Sadie until exhaustion, but they also eat Edwin up to the bone
- shocked about this they then flee the scene. When Sadie returns home
in shock, her father (Mateo Prendergast), instead of consoling her,
immediately tries to rape her, but is killed by her brother (Matt
Mendoza), who kills dad to defend Sadies honour, but then rapes her and
eats dead. From a soothsayer (Niecy Cerise), Sadie learns she has a
peculiar condition called "the Devil's Crotch", which turns all
men into cannibalistic rapists once turned on by her, and the only way to
fight this is to make her the enemy of all men ... literally, by giving
her a vagina dentata (= toothed vagina). With this newly developed
weapon in her underpants, Sadie goes after the Touchers - and gets them
all where it hurts the most ... As you might have guessed from
above synopsis, subtlety is not one of this film's virtues - basically
it's over-the-top insanity, borrowing freely from 1970s grindouse cinema
and 1980s direct-to-video genre fare, but taking the insanity of those
several steps further. Now this is more often than not a recipe for
disaster, but somehow writer/director Ron Bonk succeeds to keep the lunacy
of the piece at the same almost unreasonable height so you're really
sucked into the crazy parallel world he has created, so such an extent
that one will even find multiple crotch-removals funny. Likewise, the
performances are pretty much far out and hardly believable, but they make
total sense within the contect, as do the at times (intentionally, mind
you) piss-poor effects - just wait for that car falling off a cliff! It's
the perfect party movie, that's for sure - but one you even might find
funny on your own and without the help of alcoholic beverages and/or
recreational drugs!
