Hearing a weird noise, a little girl (Abbi Chally) leaves her room - to
find a balloon with a bag of dollparts attached to it in front of her
room, which she curiously and greedily grabs. Startled by a noise, she
spots another one at the top of the staircase, then another one halfway
down the stairs. Another noise leads the girl to the kitchen ... where she
finds a gross looking blend of monster and man. The girl's repulsed until
the creature procures a ball by magic and gives it to her as a peace
offering, which she readily accepts. But then the girl sees the puddle of
blood on the kitchen floor ... A very effective horror
miniature that proves that horror is more than just crude effects and that
really understands how to play it creepy, at the same time hightening
tension and suspense with each of its mere seven minutes to culminate in a
fittingly macabre finale.
Totally worth a look ... but do expect nightmares ;)
