Two treasure hunters find a giant oyster hidden away in some sort of
underwater cave - but before they can open it they are stopped by
Stingray, flagship of the World Aquanaut Security Patrol, who quite
bluntly tell them they can't go around, open oysters and take their pearls
any way they please. Anyway, the patrol offers them to assist them in
their treasure hunt, but all the treasure hunters would now get are 10
percent of the pearl's worth. However, once the pearl is retrieved from
the oyster, the treasure hunters kick the crew - Cap Troy Tempest,
communications officer Phones and mute mermaid Marina - out of Stingra to
fend for themselves while they want to take off with the pearl ... but not
so fast, the giant oyster has actually command over an army of small
oysters who now keep Stingray from taking off, not until the treasure
hunters give up the oyster and give themselves up to the Stingray crew.
An army of oysters attacking a submarine is actually a pretty original
if enjoyably silly idea (even if the outcome of this attack is by far not
as exciting as it sounds in writing), however, as in most other episodes,
the puppets just lack the emotional depth to carry the story. Still, one
of the better episodes of the series.
