Some evil sea creature has made a galleon of the 18th century he has
found on the Ocean floor his own and now uses it as a ghost ship to attack
other ships. The super sub Stingray picks up investigations, but in the
course of the investigations, Stingray's radio operator Phones and the
Water Aquanaut Security Patrol's boss Sam Shore are taken hostage by the
sea creature, and Commander Shore tells Troy Tempest, captain of Stingray,
to torpedo the ghost ship, even if that means his and Phones' certain
death. Tempest though has a better solution as he enters the ghost ship
for negotiations with the sea creature, with a gas canister full of
laughing gas - and this way he renders the sea creature defenseless long
enough for him to save his friend and then torpedo the ghost ship after
all ...
Nice miniatures in this one, especially the ghost ship looks impressive
and almost realistic. That said though, the story of the episode is once
again way too silly and downright childish (but not in a good way) to make
this one worthwhile.
