Professor Darren has invented a method to make gold out of deep sea
water and thus he spends most of his time on the bottom of the Ocean, with
the super-sub Stingray coming for a visit once a month to bring supplies
and fetch the gold - which is where evil underwater king Titan comes into
play, who doesn't only want to destroy Prof Darren's sub but also
(actually first and foremost) Stingray - and thus he has invented a device
that attracts the Gargan - a giant swordfish - and puts it into attack
mode. And when Stingray is paying a visit to Darren's sub, Titan has the
Gargan-luring device attached to the professor's sub - and sure enough,
the Gargan attacks. But Troy has seen through Titan's evil plans, removes
his device from the professor's sub and attaches it to Titan's sub - who
suddenly finds himself under attack from the Gargan.
Rather weak episode: A way too straight-forward plot and not too many special effects (the strong point of
the series), instead we are treated to a silly-looking swordfish bumping
into things - which is actually kind of funny for all the wrong reasons. Plus, as
always, the puppets fail to convince.
