Atlanta is doing a course on fish farming on an underwater fish farm
when she learns that her mentor Professor Cordo is actually the evil
leader of an underwater race who wants to destroy the World Aquanaut
Security Patrol, Marineville, and especially the supersub Stingray.
And wouldn't you know it, before long, Stingray stops by the fish farm
for a friendly visit, only Atlanta can do nothing to warn her friends, as
Professor Cordo has a gun pointed at Stingray's captain Troy Tempest for
the entire evening. As the Stingray crew leave for their sub though, they
are in for a shock, as the sub has been replaced by an empty shelllooking
like Stingray, while Cordo's underwater dwellers use the real Stingray as
a sort of Trojan horse. However, the Stingray crew is in for more of a
shock when they find out that the airlocks of the fishfarm are closed and
they have only a very limited supply of oxygen ... but of course, before
this story ends, Atlanta has found a way to open the airlocks, even though
she's tied up, and Troy Tempest and company manage to overpower Professor
Cordo and force him to call back his underwater dwellers. And earth, or at
least Marineville, is saved once more.
Mediocre episode: Some of the plot devices are a tad too unbelievable
to work, but there's plenty of suspense to somehow make up for it.
However, as in other episodes, the puppets do not always bring the story
across on an emotional level.
