Yaibua flees big city life and returns to the village in the country
she has grown up in because she thinks her boyfriend Pichan has shown nude
photographs of her to her colleagues as work and has a new girlfriend
already. This is all just based on a series of misunderstandings, but how
is she to know? Back in the country, Yaibua immediately starts to miss
Pichan and she decides to give him another chance - but due to another
series of misunderstandings, she fails to reach him by phone, which
eventually drives her to such a level of despair that she hangs herself.
But she hangs herself on a haunted tree, which means she comes back as a
vengeful ghost, scaring the villagers shitless and murdering a few rapists
and such. Pichan, totally unaware of Yaibua's suicide, has come to look
for her with two colleagues - and finds her, makes up with her, and the
two of them become the loving couple they once were again ... even if that
scares the shit out of the whole village. Eventually, his two colleagues -
interestingly the two who have stolen her nude pictures off his cellphone
- learn from a local priest that Yaibua is a spirit ... and interestingly,
with that in mind, they think it's a good idea to try and rape her -
something they don't survive. Pichan can't believe the stories that his
Yaibua is nothing but a spirit, and naturally freaks out when he finds
more and more proof - too late though, because Yaibua is no longer ready
to let him go. Fortunately though, an exorcism is performed in the village
to help Yaibua from this world into the next ... Standard
horror fare telling a silly little story that often enough suspends belief
beyond breaking point, often tries way too hard to make its point, and
eventually gets a bit boring due to its repetitiveness. True, this isn't
by far the worst movie ever, but that's not a good enough reason to watch
it either.
