International Rescue is called to the rescue by a young boy, but when
they arrive on the scene, they have to realize the boy and his brother
were just playing their own version of International Rescue using
Walky Talkies. To show them their mistake without being two harsh on them,
the two boys are invited to the secret island of International Rescue and
are mighty impressed ... Thing is, the whole incident somehow gets into
the media, and this gives villain the Hood an idea about the boys'
father's secret lab, where he intends to steal priceless photos from. So
he dresses up as a mining expert and lures the two boys into a mine which
he then blows up, then goes after their daddy ... The boys are quick to
call International Rescue using their walky talkies, but like the boy who
cried wolf, they are met with disbelief. It's only when International
Rescue are called in by the boy's father's organisation
to help daddy that they find out the boys' claims must have been
absolutely accurate, and they of course save the boys and chase the Hood
away just in time ...
Not much here to make this episode worthwhile: The plot's incredibly
childish, the two boys (and the depictiion of them) are rather annoying,
and apart from an all-too-short chase scene there are no action setpieces
to speak of. Among the worse episodes of the series.
