Two Fireflash jets come down in the Atlantic Ocean, and they are
quickly presumed lost ... until International Rescue gets on the job and
finds them miles away from their last (alleged) position, and crew and
passengers are saved. However, after examining pretty much the plane's
whole structure, no fault can be found, so our heroes from International
Rescue take it upon themselves to testpilot a plane - and soon enough,
they run into just the same problems as the other planes. But thank God
Thunderbird 2 of International Rescue is following close behind, and in
mid-air, Gordon tracy of the organisation climbs right into the Fireflash
to repair it ... and he finds a saboteur, whom he has to dispose of in a
shootout before he reconnects the broken circuits manually to grand the
Fireflash's safe flight home ... Weak episode that lacks proper
storytelling and interesting action setpieces. At least the miniatures and
effects are first rate though, as usual.
