5 years ago, Robert (Lonnie Honsinger) has lost his wife - and
Katherine (Jenna Noble) has lost her husband around the same time ... so
high time the two start dating again, something that's totally supported
by his son (Jimmy Cupp) and her sister (Megan Miller). And thus, Robert
and Katherine find one another on a dating site, and soon enough meet in
person - and each sees traits of their deceased respective partners in the
other ... but in a way that's way beyond the coincidental, so much so that
it at first creeps them out a bit and they decide to not see each other
anymore - but eventually they can't really and totally let go of one
another, and eventually they figure maybe their former partners have
possessed the respective other to bring them together ... I
actually do like the premise of this short, even if romances in general
are not my thing, supernatural or otherwise. Unfortunately, the film makes
only very little of it, as it's way too concerned with just being
feel-good to make much of the conflict (or create any real conflict at
all), and the dialogue is just too stilted to make this feel real.
