Akiko (Hiroko Sakurai) of Science Patrol and little Hoshino find a
system of caves beneath a well near a power plant, and in one of the caves
there's a giant monster. And the monster soon leaves its cave, attacks and
wrecks the power plant, and becomes invisible. It becomes clear that the
monster feeds on electricity, and electricity makes it invisible. So it
seems all the power plants of the country have to be heavily guarded, but
how do you fight an invisible monster. Seems like this is a job for giant
robot Ultraman - which is of course the alter ego of Science Patrol's
Hayata (Susumu Kurobe), and of course he manages to make the monster
visible, and fight and destroy it. Fun in a Japanese men in
monstersuits/giant robots/giant monsters sort of way.
