Science Patrol have just opened their underwater science base and
welcomed the president and a little girl as first visitors when something
goes wrong: Somehow, the oxygen supply of the base is cut and parts of the
hull are shattered. Initially, the Patrol accepts the blame for these
incidents, and they mount a rescue mission, but then they learn that a
giant monster with a drill for a nose is actually behind everything.
Despite the monster's attack though, the president and the little girl are
saved, and after the monster drills its way to dry land, giant robot
Ultraman (Bin Furuya) wrestles, defeats and kills it. Like most
episodes of Ultraman, this one is fun in a childish sort of way, and the
power-drill monster is almost hilarious.
