Tom has grown tired of his girlfriend Susan, so he drops her out of an
airplane over the Ocean - but even though his wife has prepared a
parachute that's not to open, he hands Susan one that actually works,
because at the last moment his conscience kicks in. Susan makes it to an
island - where she runs into a quartet of kidnappers, who take her captive
just because they cannot let her tell on them. Even if the kidnappers are
two couples, one of the males of the group can't help it and he repeatedly
tries to rape her. Susan makes numerous escape attempts of course, but all
to no avail. During one of these attempts she finds the kidnappers hostage
though, Markus, all dug in but still alive. They almost immediately fall
in love. The police arrives at the kidnappers' to - well, shoot
everybody down ... and suddenly, Susan and Markus find themselves on the
run from their saviours. Markus falls off some cliffs and dies, but Susan
... eventually finds herself on the run from a group of biker rapists, but
while being on the run, she inexplicably takes off all her clothes.
Suddenly, thought-dead Markus shows up again with a gun to almost save the
day as he kills many of the attackers - but they are too many and ...
well, once again inexplicably, Susan turns up in the end where we saw her
at the very beginning of this film: Totally naked in Tom's garden, using a
mirror to try and get his attention ... Storywise, this film
makes no sense at all, and that's not at all helped by the fact that due
to a limited budget many shortcuts were taken to tell the movie's story
(e.g. in their raid of the kidnappers' camp, the police is never shown).
And yet somehow, this movie seems to come together at least at times,
thanks to great locations, rather atmospheric camerawork, some quite
erotic scenes that show a welcome lack of gloss, and the filmmaker's
unapologetic commitment to sleaze. Now all of this does not result in a
good movie, not by a longshot, not even good sleaze, but there's something
about this flick that makes it a bit more enjoyable than other pieces of
erotica from its era.
