Dr. Mados (Lina Romay), a reporter & researcher into the supernatural is
sent to the Western town Shit City to interview doctor Spencer (Steve
Barrymore), a noted surgeon wanting to share his encounters with the
supernatural with her, but when she arrives there, she finds Spencer is only an
old drunk, rambling on about vampires & the like. Mados decides to stay in
town for the night anyways, ignorant to the fact that right next dor a young
girl (Fata Morgana) is attacked by a (naked) female vampire (Samantha Olsen),
whose service does not only include bloodsucking but also a pussy shave.
Mados' sleep is meanwhile filled with nioghtmares, including being unable to
escape Shit City, being attacked by vampires, & premonitions about Shit
City's head vampire Father Flanagan (Victor Seastrom), a priest turned vampire.
The next day, Shit City's sheriff (Paul Lapidus) has a shoot-out with
Flanagan, but the vampire proves to big an adversary for him & kills him.
Mados knows now she has to get away from the city, but in her room is held
back by the 2 naked female vampires (Olsen, Morgana), dragged into an orgy of
lesbian sex, then sucked dry by Father Flanagan.
Vampire Junction is of course typical Jess Franco-fare, a mix of
naked bodies, B-movie standards - this time crossing vampire- & B-Western
elements to a weird brew -, erratic shots, open irony & genuine
imaginativeness, combined in a very unique, personal way. Of course, Vampire
Junction is a far cry from being among Jess Franco's better works,
budgetary & technical restraints prohibit that, but it's also not what one
would expect from standard video fare.
