Somewhere in the Bavarian Alps: Pretty Lilli (Gina Janssen) wants to
marry Flori (Dagobert Walter), trouble is, whe will only get paid out of
her half of the inn she has inherited from her parents if her sister
(also Gina Janssen) marries first - which proves not so easy since
Christl is more the masculine ugly type of girl who doesn'T want to get
involved with men, even though the 2 new helpers in the inn would be
quite interested, Willi (Kalle Möllmann) out of pure horniness, Götz (Peter
Linow) because he wants to sell her land to landgrabber Maxl Huber (Jacques
Herlin). After lots of slapstick though it is Flori who ends in bed with
her (because he thinks he gets her married off that way [?]) while Rudi
(Claus Richt) gets to bed Lilli. Of course the 2 men get into a fight
over Lilli the next day, before Christl shows that she has turned from
the ugly duckling into the beautiful swan, & as the pretty girl she
has her revenge on Flori, who only used her. In the end though, Flori
stays with Christl while Lilli gets Rudi. Only Götz & Maxl Huber
get nothing.
Of all German sex comedies, those set in rural Alpine settings are
considered the worst, & this one is no exception, blending elements
of the Heimatfilm-genre (= rural Alpine dramas) with very bad slapstick
& old & unfunny jokes - & to top it off, all is done with
incredibly bad timing. The girls are not really all that pretty either.
