[Introduction: I have sent Debbie D a battery of questions for an interview, but unlike all my other interviewees, she decided to sum up all of her answers into one one story - and since she has managed to make a rather nice and comprehensive story out of my rather diverse questions, I decided to leave the whole thing just as she has sent it instead of trying to insert my questions again at appropriate points, and I hope you'll enjoy!]

Hi, my name is Debbie D and I am a well-known Scream Queen, B-movie and independent film actress known throughout the world on the underground circuit of movie making.

They call me The Ultimate Fantasy Queen, that often stems to The Ultimate Scream Queen. These titles came about after acting and working with producers and fans as well.

I like to do it all and do it just a little bit different. I'm not a follower or a copier and never have been. I do things the way I see them and that's what I'm about. I have started many trends from clothing, jewelry and shoes. It's neat to see people follow. Even on a B level I am still on TV and my movies are sold in retail stores as well as rented and sold in video stores and through the internet worldwide.

It's a life that started and has grown more and more with each passing year. I cannot complain. It is what I was born to do!!

My first B-film came from an offer through a company named Falcon Video [interview with Falcon Video's Phil Herman - click here] - they saw my photo in a photography magazine. Sounds odd that my career in movie making came from a photo in a photography magazine but that is where the phrase "it was meant to be" comes from.

Who would have thought I was an actress?

How did this movie company make a connection like this?

Fate is how!!

After that I did two more movies for Falcon Video and they set me up at a booth with their distributor at a Horror Convention and the rest so they say is history but as we are in the start of an interview let me explain.

I started with Falcon Video and I realized  after that I am supposed to be doing this. Again, this was odd because I received my first break getting a record contract and had always dreamed of being a singer/songwriter and have even worked singing for Disney, but somehow it was not my total calling in life.

Again, fate had it's hand in it coming from a whole different direction.

When I worked for Falcon Video, the acting came natural and I did my first topless and nude scenes with them - Welcome to the B world. I never minded being nude even as a little girl, so maybe I was being conditioned to do this for a living and that was the reason for not ever being inhibited. The beginning is where we all end up when you think about it.

I went on to work for a local N.J. based production company called WAVE.That was fun for the most part and it's funny that most people associate me with this company but yet I have worked for so many independent companies over the years. I think it's because WAVE turned out so many movies so quickly ... i

Since actors can never seem to get enough acting, I decided to offer custom videos along with custom photosets, since I did a lot of modeling and hamming it up for a camera - still or tape, it is what I seem to do best. This is where I first earned the title of The Ultimate Fantasy Queen, by offering custom-made orders.

It seems there are many fetishes out there but people would feel funny trying to ask. They would buy a whole movie because there was 2 minutes or less of something they wanted to see. With me I can make them the whole video with what they want to see. All they would have to do is get over feeling odd and open up. To me, it is all acting and not odd at all. I am an actress so I should be able to portray whatever the situation calls for and that is the way I've handled my custom work and still do.

This custom work has kept me very busy in between my roles as an actor in movies.

In between all of this I am known as my comic character called Destiny The Vampire Mermaid that can be found in Scary Monsters Magazine around the world!!

I am also known as The Brown Haired Mermaid, and I take her to the Annual Coney Island Mermaid Parade each year!!

I also love modeling because it gives me a chance to show off and I like creating as well as fashion.

I have been in over two hundred magazines and fanzines for my singing, modeling and acting. I have been in over three hundred independent B-movies and custom made work as well as clip- sites and I don't see anything slowing down.

I would love to move up to A-movie making. I am already fully polished and could play any lead alongside any actor that exists!!

As actors and as people, we always want more.
