Your upcoming movie Vampire Coven - in a few words, what is it about?

Vampire Coven is a small project where professionals in the industry can come together to share their skills and showcase their awesome work.

What were your sources of inspiration when dreaming up Vampire Coven?

The project is based on the Evil Twins story and their adventures through their dark and SYNister world of horror and gore. The back story for those of you who don't know is here: https://youtu.be/y08cw2Cx4D0

What can you tell us about your movie's approach to horror (as in suspense vs sudden shocks, atmosphere vs all-out shocks and the like)?

There will be some really simple yet great moments of suspense and sudden shocks. This movie is aimed to be a stylish short to show our overall capabilities.

What can you tell us about the intended overall look and feel of your movie?

It will be a very gothic, dark and stylish look, a kind of cross between True Blood and Penny Dreadful when it comes to what it will visually look like. But with a darker more simple story.

You will also appear in front of the camera in Vampire Coven, right? So what can you tell us about your character, and what will you draw upon to bring her to life?

My character is based on the youngest Evil Twin, she is a werewolf and sister of the Blood Priestess, she is queen of the wolves and only answers to the call of her sister.

Do talk about your partner-in-crime on not only this movie, Missy Poison, for a bit, and how will you share responsibilities - and how did the two of you first meet even?

We first met at a photoshoot for a friend's latex company, Spanky Latex. Where she was showing us her horror work. I messaged her saying I'd be up for a shoot. Cutting a long story short... Apparently putting dead bird feathers in my mouth was love at first meeting. The rest is history... A lot of it! We went on to shooting our gory horror 2-3 times a week, our fan base grew and thus was born the Evil Twins!

What can you tell us about the rest of your projected key cast and crew, and why exactly these people?

We are inviting the best of the best to come and work with us, I have selected key people whom I think will be 100% reliable and be able to give it their all in this project. The Evil Twins have not had it easy in our journey to where we are now, and for this project to be a success we need to have everyone pull their weight.

For Vampire Coven you team up with LA-based Phantom Studios - so what will they bring to the table?

Phantom Studios are an LA based production company. Having produced anything from music videos to full series, their expertise is second to none and having them on board is a true honour!

As we speak, Vampire Coven is still in its fundraising stages - so what can you tell us about your fundraisng efforts?

We currently have an IndieGoGo campaign running so that we can afford the locations, travel expenses and materials etc for this production. Without that we might not be able to pull off this amazing project.

Once the funds are raised, what's the schedule - and any idea when and where the film might be released onto the general public yet?

Once we reach our target funding I can then book the locations and make sure everyone is compensated for their travel and materials... Filming should then start approximately a month after the campaign finishes.

Your initial claim to fame came through modeling and photography, right? So do take about these aspects of your career?

I started as a photographer almost 10 years ago, being drawn to the strange and unusual, because I myself am strange and unusual... It seemed only too natural for me to specialize in horror when I entered the world of modelling.

What made you decide to branch out into movies eventually?

I have always been a filmmaker of sorts, my passion for filmmaking started when I first watched the special features of Terminator 2... From that day on, deep down I knew I needed to make movies. And one way or another I have been doing it ever since!

Most of your work seems to be horror-related - coincidence, or is horror a genre at all dear to you, and why (not)?

My love for horror has always been from the old Hammer horrors I watched with my dad, it is such a fond memory that I can't imagine doing anything else! And when my Evil Twin came along it was like a dream come true, so naturally I will keep doing horror till the day I die. I would love to be able to pave the way for a new era in horror!

Actresses, filmmakers, whoever else who inspire you?

Charlize Theron is truly amazing, Vincent Price [Vincent Price bio - click here], Sigourney Weaver, all my favourites!

Your favourite movies?

There are just too many to count!

... and of course, films you really deplore?

I really didn't like Babadook, not my kind of horror I'm afraid.
