On their way to a rave they're organizing in an abandoned warehouse in the middle of nowhere, Paul (Hal Hillman) and Lucio (Callum McGuire) pick up a special kind of acid from an eccentric "chemist" (Bruce Payne) to give all their guests an unforgettable high. And on the way they also pick up Paul's ex Anita (Jennifer Johnson) and Lucio's "favourite enemy" Shailene (Megan Jenkins) after a freak accident, which should provide tensions enough already. But things really start to go wrong once the rave's in full swing and the acid has been distributed among all guests - everyone except Paul, Lucio, Anita and Shailene - and they turn into flesh-eating zombies. Not a good thing, as the zombie's block our heroes' way out of the warehouse, and not all escape plans they come up with ... are really that good. But things really go bad when James (Gbola Adewunmi) shows up with two bodyguards (Sam Dunning, Savif Said) - now James is a former friend of theirs who has actually set them up with the eccentric chemist they got the acid from - but he did know the acid would zombify people, and has even brought his own zombie repellent. And for some reason, he's out to have his revenge on Paul and Lucio, and other than them, he's got a plan ...

One can't but love Acid Pit Stop for its unapologetic B-movie approach, paired with plenty of humour that especially regarding the film's subject matter stays largely clear of the gross-out variety, all carried by a light-footed directorial effort. Now true, the film might not carry any deeper meaning or even turn an entirely new page in genre history - but it has never set out to be, and for what it is, a zombie comedy of the party flick variety, it's really good!
