Brandon the killer (Shane Ryan) is still at it - fucking girls and then
killing them on cam that is, the pre-credit sequence leaves little doubt
about that. Then the story starts: Brandon picks up Niki (real-life
pornstar Regan Reese), an aspiring actress in the midst of shooting her
first movie but now desperate to get back home because her brother had an
accident. Brandon promises to give her a lift to the railway station, is
all charms and does his best to calm her down - and he even succeeds.
Then, they're out of town by now, he wants to see a little more of her,
wants her to undress on camera, and since he promises to take her home in
return, she agrees a tad reluctantly. Once she's wearing nothing but her
panties though, Brandon's mood changes rather apruptly, as he recognizes
her from some internet porn sites - and even though she swears this is all
behind her and she's a good girl now, he starts to treat her like dirt,
gropes her tits, fingers her pussy, forces her to suck his cock, and
ultimately throws her out of his car in the nude to chase her by car. Once
Brandon has completely broken her, he stops, invites her back into his
car, lets her get dressed againthen drops her off somewhere in the city,
not exactly where she wanted to go (the railway station), but at least
they're back in civilisation again. She gets out of the car and
understandably never wants to see him again, but Brandon calls her back to
pick up her cellphone's charger she has forgotten - and when she reaches
into the car to get it, he hits her over the head until she's dead. And
Brandon, did they catch him this time? Nope, only days later, a 13-year
old girl asks him to buy her alcohol, but he offers to give her a ride
instead ... Director Shane Ryan has done it agian: He has made
the third film based on the same feeble premise, and has made a third
disturbing, self-consciously sleazy masterpiece of suspense out of it. As
in his other films, the concept is amazingly simple: You know exactly what
will happen to the girl in the end (the title's a dead-giveaway, and if
that was not enough, the pre-credit sequences leave little in doubt), but
the buildup to the inevitable finale is pure tension from beginning to
end, especially since Shane Ryan the writer puts enough twists and turns
into the script to play another wicked variation on his main theme. There's
just one thing: I doubt that Shane Ryan can pull off a fourth Amateur
Porn Star Killer movie along the same lines ... though his
upcoming self-parody Amateur Porn Star Killer 3D might turn into
one of the most interesting films of the year ...
