The Dark Angels, led by their female boss only known as Chief, has its hands in pretty much every crime there is, be it diamond smuggling or production & sale of drugs, & government agents sent after them are gunned down with great regularity ...

But then the government sends Luo Na (Lily Ho), agent 009 after the gang, disguised as the immensely rich girlfriend of the incarcerated gangster Baldie, & her first lead is a jeweller, Cheng Tiehu (Tang Ching), who seems to be not quite as honourable as he pretends to be, & whose affections Luo Na soon wins ... not at least thanks to the expensive jewellery she's always wearing.

But Cheng's girlfriend Dolly - also one of the Dark Angels - is not quite as happy about seductive Luo Na, & soon the 2 get into a fierce fight ... but Luo Na remains victorious.

This naturally catches the attention of Chief, who decides she needs a woman like Luo Na in her gang. ... but to persuade her joining them she only knows one way ... robbing her blind.

Soon Luo Na realizes she has no money, no jewels, no nothing, & she gladly accepts the offer of joining the Dark Angels (as if that wasn't her plan in the first place).

Soon she performs her first jobs admirably, this being an assassination (actually she has to kill one of her colleagues with the police whom she persuades to play dead) or a fashion show (to divert attention from a crime the Dark Angels are committing) ... but when she's almost raped by an accomplice, she notices she's not yet in the clear ... & of all the Dark Angels, only Cheng Tiehu, who questions the methods of his gang more & more, shows real sympathy, & even promises to help her getting away.

But Luo Na rises in the ranks, & soon sees the opportuinity of becoming second in command within her grasp ... wouldn't Baldie ahve broken out of jail, come to the Dark Angels' secret hideout & informed everyone on Luo Na's real identity ... bugger.

But by now, Luo Na has already set a few timebombs to blow the whole place to kingdom come, & after a long fight against various of the Black Angels' guards, she can escape the hideout too, before it blows up, helped only by Cheg Tiehu (by now reformed, but naturally he has to die a heroes' death).

Chief & her closest associates can get away on a yacht though, but are ignorant to the fact that Luo Na has placed one of her timebombs right there too ... boom !

Very colourful crime-&-espionage movie  very obviously inspired by the then popular James Bond-series & its predilection for fancy but useless gadgets, exotic & decadent locations & a bit of eroticism thrown into the mix. A tad overlong but still some fun to watch ... but most likely forgotten the very next day.
