The time we're living in, with a pandemic controlling and effectively changing out day-to-day lives, is an exceptional one, as none of us have had any first-hand experience with large scale pandemics prior to the outbreak, and thus nobody has come prepared. But could it have been predicted? On a scientific level, the question of the outbreak of a new and unknown pandemic has long been not so much about if but rather when. And according to this documentary, even the "when" could have been predicted as it all has to do with a lunar eclipse and the alignment of Pluto, Saturn and Jupiter to one another, something that has already been true to the Black Death, the Spanish Flu, the Aids outbreak, and a couple of other pandemics touched in the film. And according to the stars (and planets in fact), the next pandemic is already round the corner (the film predicts one for 2036) ...

Now one thing's for sure, if you don't believe in astrological findings (and I sure don't), this film will do little to convince you otherwise, as it's too eager to prove its point to even consider other scientific factors that have long been proven without the help of the stars (like the occurence of second waves during most pandemics) while the choice of picking out just three planets of our solar system to make large scale predictions based on their alignment seems a bit - random really, to a point that it might be argued that the planets have been argued because their alignment fit the points in history by coincidence rather than by design.

That all said, hats off still to filmmaker and astrologist Nicholas Snyder, as he does make a strong case that doesn't just stick to esoterics but bases its findings on factual evidence, and does not take for granted that all viewers are believers, which results in a fascinating introduction into higher astrology, even for nonbelievers like me.
