The Clamptons (the titular Beverly Hillbillies) are travelling back home to
their hicktown from Beverly Hills for Christmas by airplane, confusing
this new-fangled flying machine for a bus for the whole time. Cousin
Pearl
(Bea Benaderet), who still lives in their old hometown, doesn't know
anything about their surprise visit and wants to go to Beverly Hills to
surprise them - and so it's upon Mr Brewster (Frank Wilcox), the boss of the
oil company that made the Clamptons rich, to hold her back ... problem is,
Pearl desperately wants to make Brewster her husband, while he has already
insulted her by offering her a job as his housekeeper ... Only
mildly amusing when it's supposed to be laugh-out-loud funny, but still
one of the better episodes of Beverly Hillbillies.
