One night, hitman Darryl (Marc Clement) just needs to get rid of a body
(Tim Hawkins), so he calls his boss, who sends around Steveo (Anton
Schrama) as the clean-up man. Unfortunately, Seveo is new on the job,
brings all sorts of impractical tools and seems to be oblivious to the
fact that all he needs really is a cannister of petrol and a shovel. And
the more Darryl tries to hint at this, the bigger the problems get ... A
fun short for sure, this movie takes a situation that has over the year
become a mainstay in crime cinema, plays up the macabre side of things and
adds plenty of irony to the mix to turn what's usually a throwaway scene
into a series of gags chock-full of movie references but carried by its
two very uneven characters. And the punchline of the piece alone is almost
worth the price of admission alone. Great fun for sure!
