It should have been holidays for Buck Sawyer (Guinn 'Big Boy'
Williams), but then he hears that his fatherly friend sheriff Hank Simpson
(John Elliott) is hunting down the Juarez Kid for a string of crimes ...
only it seems these crimes were not committed by the real Juarez Kid
(Julian Rivero) but an impostor, probably Deputy Swanson (Richard
Alexander) in a gaucho outfit.
To help his friend, Buck does a little bit of investigating on his own,
but soon enough, he is mistaken for the killer of her father by young and
pretty Ruch (Janet Chandler), he is even disarmed and sht at, and can only
with luck escape to Mona Escovar's (Julia Bejarano) hut ... in the cellar
of which the real Juarez Kid - the real one - has found a rich goldmine.
Buck, the Juarez Kid, Mona Escovar, the Sheriff and Ruth - who has
since been convinced that Buck is not a killer - soon decide to set a trap
for the Deputy, virtually driving him to steal both Mona's mine and money
from her. Of course, this little plan works, and at the end, the Deputy is
arrested, and wouldn't you know it, buck gets the girl, Ruth that is.
Cheap and not terribly inventive, but still solid B-Western
entertainment.
