Former Hercules Brad Harris plays a mercenary on the trail of his former accomplice Marc
Lawrence,
who left him to die in the jungle after their last heist. And not
content with that, Lawrence also abducted Harris' lover Ursula Davis,
and as if that still wasn't enough, Lawrence just happens to also
be some kind of maniac who wants to take over
the world with the help of his mindcontrolled gorillas. But with the
help of topless jungle girl Eva (Esmeralda Barros), Harris can free his
girl and save the world from another archvillain and his apes.
One of these bad but nevertheless funny jungleflicks you just have to
love or love to hate. As these movies go, this one has all the right
ingredients: brain surgery on gorillas, men in very bad gorilla-suits
with incredibly fake-looking scars showing they had brain surgery, a
topless jungle girl (too bad her hair covers her boobs most of the time,
also, even though she is the title character of the movie [the Italian
title at least], she doesn't have all that much to do) & of course
veteran B-actor & cult fave Brad Harris (who, as an added bonus,
also has a dancing scene [!!!]). Best watched with beer ! |
