Brittany (Ada Mae Johnson aka Noname Jane, formerly Violet Blue), a naive wannabe actress, is extremely afraid of speed, which is kind of a problem because her boyfriend Max (Dale Rutte) is a racecar driver. Max though has bigger problems than this, because his former friend and present rival on the racecar track Rico (Alex Torre) has sworn to annihilate him on the racetrack, and for him annihilating means more than just beating him in a race - basically because he wants to repay Max for stealing Brittany from him..

Rico's dad Hornero (Don Hart) by the way is a rich mobster who has genetically mutated sperm (!) that is not only the most powerful drug on earth but also useable as fuel or a weapon. Hornero has bet a large lump of money on his son winning in Car Wars, but there's Max standing in his way. So he sends some of his thugs over to break one of Max's legs, and that should do it, right?

Wrong! Sure, Max can't drive anymore, but his mentor Zendo (Chyna McCoy) finds out his girlfriend Brittany has the perfect reaction a racedriver would need and figures that she can fight her fear of speed by means of orgasms. Thus he has Brittany and Max make love on the hood of a speeding Lamborghini, and this gives her some self confidence - but for the race, she still takes a vibrator with her.

Everything goes well as long as Brittany vibrates herself, even though Rico has equipped the whole racetrack with landmines, but then Brittany loses her vibrator, and Max has to jump into her car to finger her to victory. After that, he and his friends take care of Rico, Hornero and his gang.

First and foremost, despite the participation of many a pornstar in this film, despite of certain very obvious plot elements and many a sex scene, this is not a hardcore porn movie. Rather it's an enjoyably and intentionally silly action flick based on a few rather outrageous premises it doesn't take too seriously though. Several hilarious performances carry the plot rather nicely, first and foremost pornstar Noname Jane as naive wannabe actress. On top of that, the film features martial arts scenes (choreographed by co-star Chyna McCoy) that are incredibly well-conceived and can easily compete with everything coming out of Hollywood.

That all said, Fear of Speed is at the same time far from perfect, its direction is pretty bland and much too content to remain within conventions of the direct-to-video movies, the carrace sequences are rather poorly conceived (in stark contrast to the martial arts, actually), and despite some hilarious ideas, the plot as such doesn't quite click and seems to tell two stories (the one aboput Car Wars and the one about the man and his super sperm) at the same time without properly linking them.

In all though, the film is fun and might make a pretty good party movie.
